Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Line EIT to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in Billings, MT.
The primary duties of a Transmission Line EIT are to perform engineering tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer or Project Manager. The EIT may work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.
Tasks may include:
* Conducting analyses to develop design options
* Performing modeling and/or calculations
* Assisting with preparing cost estimates or specifications
* Perform routine engineering and design tasks
* Participate in field reviews or constructions observation
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
* Previous transmission line design experience
* Master's degree in Engineering
* EIT certification or ability to obtain
* Previous engineering consulting firm experience
