UnitedHealth Group Traveler Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Assisted Living and Home Settings - OH, OR, WA, WI in Billings, Montana
$ 40,000 Student Loan Repayment or $ 30,000 Sign-on Bonus for individuals who have not previously participated in this program.
This role requires willingness for travel within the states of Ohio, Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington. Licensures will be reimbursed in additional states.
This role is 100% travel. You will leave Monday AM and travel to one of the states and then come home Friday afternoon. All expenses paid.
You can live anywhere in the US for this position.

The Senior Community Care (SCC) program is a longitudinal, integrated care delivery program that coordinates the delivery and provision of clinical care of members in a facility setting. The APC within SCC provides care to our highest-risk health plan members and is part of an interdisciplinary team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide clinical coverage for the primary APC during periods of PTO or short/long term absences
Manage members through an acute medical situation or an exacerbation of a chronic condition, including testing, diagnostics, and interventions
Manage members during a short term, sub-acute rehabilitation episode
Conduct comprehensive, monthly/routine, and/or acute care visit assessments
Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions
Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

Required Qualifications:
Active NP or PA license or ability to obtain by start date. Licensure must be unencumbered, free of any open/unresolved disciplinary actions including probation or restrictions against privilege to practice
For NP's: Active ANCC or AANP national certification in Family, Adult, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, etc. Licensure must be unencumbered, free of any open/unresolved disciplinary actions including probation or restrictions against privilege to practice
Current, active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or eligibility to obtain post-hire, per state regulations (unless prohibited in state of practice)
1+ years of clinical/family/geriatric practice experience as an NP or PA
Willingness to travel via car, airplane, etc.
Willingness to obtain additional licensure in assigned geographic areas
Ability to complete physical requirements of the job including lifting a 30-pound bag in and out of the car, navigating stairs and a variety of dwelling conditions, and sit, stand, and kneel to perform physical assessment
Proficient with electronic medical records and the internet
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. *PLEASE NOTE* Employees must be in an active regular status. Employees must remain in role for a minimum of 12 months from the date of hire /rehire/transfer. If an employee leaves Home and Community, the student loan repayments will cease. The employee must remain in an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician role within Home and Community for 36 months to receive the full benefit of the student loan repayments.
