This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic design engineering consulting team in the Billings area, mainly servicing clients local to the Billings community. As a member of this talented team you will do engineering consulting related to pumps, pipelines, and water distribution systems. In addition to the meaningful work you will be doing right here in the 406, our engineers enjoy the opportunity to be a part of nationwide cross functional teams that are solving complex problems and designing sophisticated systems related to water and wastewater.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of a Water/ Watewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.

Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed.

Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.

Perform other duties as needed.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

5+ years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.

PE or able to obtain.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task.

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
