NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Corrosion Aide in BLACK EAGLE, Montana
Multiple locations open in Montana - Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena and Missoula and surrounding areas
Excellent position for anyone available in the summer, with flexible start date from May 12th to June 10th and work through middle to end of August with the potential to return the following year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent by first day of employment
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Be, or ability to become, an Operator Qualified for identified tasks per DOT 192; we will train
- Decent computer skills to gather data and download the information at the end of day
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Ability to work four 10-hour days per week; three-day weekends
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including walking for up to 8 hours per day, lifting up to 35 pounds, working in inclement weather and traveling within defined areas
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Complete mandatory compliance surveys pertaining to corrosion control on steel distribution lines
- Provide assistance to the Division Corrosion Technician on various assigned tasks
- Data entry into a handheld device
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position; flexible start date between May 12th and June 10th through August 2025.
$20.00 per hour.
