NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Engineer Electric Central Maintenance in BLACK EAGLE, Montana

Location preferred in Billings, Bozeman or Helena; will also consider Butte, Great Falls or Missoula.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Access and Excel
  • Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to occasional lift materials up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel to jobsites, off-site meetings, and trainings (up to 25% travel per year) including overnight stays when necessary
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Knowledge and experience in construction/project management work preferred
  • Knowledge of the NESC, NEC, IEEE Reliability Standards, and DOT regulations preferred
  • Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code & DOT Pipeline Safety Regs Parts 191 and 192 preferred

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Collect data, analyze, design, and estimate to produce engineering project documents
  • Provide technical and other program support for various company departments
  • Ensure project compliance and oversight of auditable guidelines, policies, practices, and organization standards, including federal and state regulations relating to design solutions
  • Assist in developing and managing Central Maintenance budgets
  • Manage capital and expense projects
  • Compile and write technical reports
  • Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
  • Ensure self and others actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives

Full-time position.

$62,900 - $135,200 annually, depending on experience.
