JEFFERSON COUNTY Facility Maintenence Custodian in BOULDER, Montana
This permanent, full-time position with Jefferson County requires an individual pay great detail to the cleanliness and safety of all county buildings. Position evaluates and accomplishes cleaning projects, and some grounds keeping maintenance. Must be able to climb ladders or scaffolding to paint and clean. Performs all cleaning projects which include, shampooing carpets, stripping, and waxing floors, removing, and washing blinds and cleaning windows, vacuuming, garbage removal and dusting. Some maintenance projects may include assisting with sheet-rocking, taping, texturing, hanging doors, trim work, and staining. Position helps maintain all county grounds including lawns, hedges, trees, flower gardens, and trash pick-up. Works with other maintenance personnel in identifying and correcting any safety hazards. Must work with hazardous chemicals and cleaning compounds, lift 25 - 50 pounds routinely and occasionally lift 100+ pounds. Must be able to deal well with other employees, departments and elected officials and work in adverse weather; may respond to occasional call-outs. These skills may be obtained through education, experience, training, or a combination of all three. Some experience preferred. Must have current Montana driver?s license Individual will be subjected to a criminal background check.
