Rocky Boy Health Center Mid-Level Medical Provider in Box Elder, Montana

POSITION SUMMARY:Rocky Boy Health Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The Mid-Level Provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients across various healthcare settings. Incumbent will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, patient education, and comprehensive care coordination.MAJOR DUTIES:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.- Diagnose and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising or consulting physicians when required.- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as permitted by state law and organizational policies.- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and health promotion.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines.- Perform minor procedures and assist in clinical interventions as needed.- Stay current with medical advancements, continuing education, and professional development.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Montana.- Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.- Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PAs or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)/American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) for NPs.- DEA registration or eligibility.- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
