Duties and Responsibilities
The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship invites applications for a tenure-track position to join the college’s Marketing Option. Responsibilities include publishing high quality scholarly research in Marketing, teaching undergraduate Marketing courses, and service activities within the department, college, campus, community, and profession.
Our core marketing courses include Principles of Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Sales, Senior Capstone: Marketing Management, as well as elective courses. Therefore, a successful candidate must be able to teach with high quality a variety of marketing courses and topics at the undergraduate level. Candidates with experience, interests, and scholarship in digital marketing, social media marketing, integrated online marketing, or technology integration in digital marketing are particularly encouraged to apply. A normal teaching load is 15 credit hours per year.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree with emphasis in Marketing or a closely related field by start date from an AACSB -accredited university.
Ability to teach undergraduate courses in marketing supporting the business major.
Potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in respected peer-reviewed journals.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated experience teaching upper-level courses.
Ability to teach in more than one marketing area, particularly digital marketing, social media marketing, integrated online marketing, or technology integration in digital marketing.
Record of refereed publications.
Professional experience and/or certifications.
