Revelyst Associate Business Development Specialist in Bozeman, Montana
Job Description
As the Associate Business Development Specialist (ABDS), you will be instrumental in driving growth for our Outdoor Performance Group brands. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing data, and identifying new business opportunities across the EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions. You will forge strong customer relationships and implement sales and go-to-market strategies that align with our business objectives. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain international market insights, deepen your understanding of business dynamics, and refine your skills to deliver impactful results.
This position reports to the Director of Business Development for International markets and will be based out of our Bozeman, Montana or Logan, Utah office(s).
As the Business Development Associate, you will have an opportunity to:
Cultivate a Comprehensive Understanding of OPG Brands: Deeply engage with OPG’s brands, products, and strategic objectives to drive growth and achieve financial goals.
Conduct Market Research: Explore and identify potential opportunities in international markets through thorough market analysis.
Enhance Industry Expertise: Attend trade shows, explore markets, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to broaden industry knowledge.
Develop and Execute Sales Plans: Align sales strategies with brand objectives to drive revenue growth effectively.
Analyze Sales Performance Data: Manage and interpret sales performance metrics, generating business intelligence reports to pinpoint key opportunities across OPG’s brand portfolio.
Conduct Competitive Analysis: Perform detailed assessments of competitors, examining industry trends and product developments to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage, and present both quantitative and qualitative insights.
Build Strong Customer Relationships: Actively engage with key partners to foster relationships, enhancing understanding of international cultural nuances and ethical business practices.
Collaborate for Product Innovation: Work alongside internal stakeholders to innovate and enhance existing products and services, ensuring they meet evolving market demands.
Facilitate Team Meetings: Conduct discussions with internal teams and customers to review business updates and project development progress.
Optimize Sales Processes: Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies in current sales workflows and develop streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and improve sales performance.
Conduct Due Diligence: Spearhead the partner vetting process by thoroughly investigating key factors such as company reputation, customer reviews, leadership quality, organizational culture, work ethics, core values, and business fundamentals to mitigate potential risks.
Negotiate: Lead the negotiation and finalization of partnership agreements and contracts, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, cost structures, resource allocation, deliverable tracking, and risk management strategies to establish clear expectations for all parties involved.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.
2-3 years previous experience in sales, marketing or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, partners, and team members.
Ownership mindset and commitment to achieving audacious goals.
Strong ethical foundation and professionalism to foster credibility and enhance overall work ethic.
Proficiency in analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and evaluating business performance metrics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders.
Collaborative and agile work ethic to work with peers and leadership teams towards shared goals.
Proficiency in MS Office for creating reports and presentations.
Understanding of analytical tools for reporting (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
Willingness to travel outside the U.S. 25% of time and attend industry trade shows.
Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
