Bozeman Health Audiologist (FT- 0.9 fte) in Bozeman, Montana

Position Summary:

The Audiologist perform’s essential hearing services, using technology, computers, and other testing equipment. The Audiologist may work with other healthcare professionals, make appropriate referrals, and follow through for appropriate hearing health.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate of Audiology degree, Master’s degree if granfathered in

  • Continuing Education Credits

  • Preferred: Current CEU’s

  • Preferred: Experience with hearing evaluations and interpretations

  • Preferred: Knowledge of hearing aid fitting and programming

Essential Job Functions:

  • Hearing evaluations varying from basic to complex

  • Fitting and programming of hearing aids and devices including ordering and pricing

  • Collaboration with other providers and third party payors

  • Education and instruction to patients

  • Medical record documentation of all appointments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times

  • Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment

  • Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
