Gallatin College seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in one or more of the following specialty areas:
Aviation Fundamentals
Meteorology for Aviation
Advanced Navigation Systems
Instrument Ground
Aviation Operations
Aviation Regulations and Professional Conduct
Aircraft Systems for Pilots
Commercial Ground
Aviation Safety
Flight Instructor Theory
Advanced Aircraft Theory
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
For all Workforce programs: occupational experience in the field is required. Academic degrees or industry certifications may be required depending on the course.
Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Prior teaching experience in a classroom setting
Certified Flight Instructor
Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity

The Program
Students completing the AAS in Aviation will have all credentials required to pursue a career as a professional pilot. The program offers in-depth training in all stages of pilot certification: Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot. The program also offers classroom training in Aircraft Systems, Advanced Navigation Systems, Aviation Safety, Flight Instructor/ Aircraft Theory, and Aviation Regulations and Professional Conduct.
