    POSITION

    In this role, the Designer helps translate conceptual designs and ideas by using AutoDesk Plant3D software to create technical drawings for industrial projects within the company. These responsibilities include:

  • Modeling of industrial processes, including piping, valves, pumps, tanks, and other appurtenances related to the process.

  • Creating detailed technical drawings based on sketches, specifications, and other input provided by engineers and/or clients.

  • Translating concepts and ideas into precise, accurate drawings and models using CAD software

  • Prepare drawings for review, bidding, and construction purposes.

  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and specifications are met and communicated effectively.

  • Gathering, interpreting, and incorporating design development comments from project engineers via redlines.

  • Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry and company standards and project requirements.

    YOUR STRENGTHS

  • Associate or Technical degree in Drafting or CAD Technology preferred

  • Experience with AutoDesk Revit a plus

  • Experience with AutoDesk Revit a plus

  • 5+ years of design experience within Plant3D

  • Strong technical design skills

  • Knowledge of design principles and standards

  • Understanding of survey data post processing into surfaces or TINs

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
