General Statement
Museum of the Rockies ( MOR ) is Montana’s most visited museum, a college-level division of Montana State University, an independent nonprofit organization, a Smithsonian Affiliate, an accredited AAM museum, and a repository for state and federal fossils. The interdisciplinary museum has one of the finest collections of paleontology in the world and a significant cultural collection from the Northern Rocky Mountain region. Located on a 34-acre museum site, it includes a 120,000-square-foot-facility, the state-of-the-art Taylor Planetarium, the 220 seat Hager Auditorium, Martin Children’s Discovery Center, and Living History Farm, along with an off-site 553-acre paleontology preserve.

Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises approximately 5 student employees, including a student supervisor.
Provides training and conducts scheduling.
Oversees all aspects of producing specialty drinks; ensures that products are being prepared properly and staff is trained when absent. (vacations/days off/etc.)
Merchandises a variety of pre‐made, grab‐and‐go food & beverages.
Ensures excellent customer service.
Monitors equipment to ensure full operating capacity.
Performs a variety of cashier and cash handling duties.
Orders, receives, stocks and inventories products and supplies. Ensures that the quality, quantity and sanitation guidelines are sufficient for intended use.
Appropriately puts deliveries away and rotates products.
Performs and assigns cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Experience in coffee and other beverage preparation.
Customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated experience providing prompt, friendly customer service.
Barista/Coffee shop experience.
Supervisory experience.
Cash handling experience.
