Lattice Materials LLC Crystal Growth Technician in Bozeman, Montana

We are looking for a highly detail oriented Crystal Growth Technician in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will participate in all facets of the day-to-day crystal growth activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Monitor various crystal growth processes.Growth station set-up, loading and breakdown furnacesVisual inspection skills for crystal growth processOperation record keeping, maintaining accurate records of all processing steps on paper and in database.Develop and follow process SOP documentation and safety proceduresPlan and expedite work schedules to meet production and quality requirements goals.Routine equipment & facility maintenance.Responsible for parts and supplies inventory and work in process.Must have good computer skills for record keeping, scheduling, and communication.Must be detailed oriented and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Routine verbal and written communications with management and other parts of the operation.Other duties may be assigned.Successfully pass pre-employment drug test and background check.Education/Experience:Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Physics or a closely related engineering field is desired but not essential. Experience in crystal growth production including assembly, preventative maintenance and operation of crystal growth equipment.
