Position Responsibility: Manage the Mitigation and Contents department in Butte and Bozeman. The position can be located in Butte or Bozeman or anywhere in between with weekly travel to manage teams in each location.
General Summary:
Dayspring Restoration's Mitigation Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the people and project cycle of Mitigation-related restoration. This person must embody compassion and clear and effective communication with a diverse group of people. This position will provide direction and coordination of all field and in-shop activities related to crews and any coordinated subcontracts, as well as keeping track of digital contents inventory.
This position will partner with estimators, supervisors, and the Mitigation team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in all phases of the restoration process. This person should have demonstrated experience handling insurance claims in the residential restoration industry with sufficient knowledge of Mitigation restoration so that they can teach, train and develop others. Occasional travel may be required to other locations within the region (training) and throughout MT for large loss opportunities.
Overall Responsibilities:
Build customer rapport by ensuring a high level of quality and service at each stage of the process.
Utilize Xactimate to write professional, well-organized, detailed, and accurate estimates. Preferred, though not required.
Maintain acceptable sales levels and profit margins
Pre-planning jobs - materials, labor, etc. to meet expected profitability goals
Create in writing and effectively communicate a production schedule for every job
Locate and utilize subcontractors and initiate subcontractor agreements
Create change orders as needed and invoices for completed jobs
Provide timely communication with customers, subcontractors, and adjusters
Organize and manage multiple contents and cleaning projects simultaneously
Utilize CRM job management software (Solitaire/DASH experience a plus). Maintaining detailed job notes and job status updates.
Explain procedures for handling non-salvageable items
Responsible for visiting job sites as needed, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Be available for on-call emergency services and after-hours work
Preferred Job Skills/Experience

2+ years experience with restoration/mitigation invoicing and/or estimating preferred
2+ years experience in team management preferred
Professional in dress and demeanor
Experience writing insurance claim estimates using Xactimate estimating software
High level of accountability for self and others
Proven ability to work independently
Proven leadership skills. Provide team with clear direction and expectations as need. Removes obstacles that lead to failure.
Ability to train and coach process, protocol, and policy as needed
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Significant physical demands of material handling (packing and moving from one location to another)
