Job Description
As the eCommerce Site Merchandiser for Simms Fishing and Stone Glacier, you will leverage ecommerce platform capabilities and connected applications to implement and suggest strategies that support site conversion from all traffic-driving channels and increase brand representation. You will organize, develop, and execute website merchandising plans including product launches and sunsetting, promotional campaigns, brand initiatives, and content updates that contribute to revenue goals. You are the pivot point that makes the vision of our product teams come to life, partnering with the marketing, product and creative production teams to bring the best experiences to our outdoor obsessed customers.
This position reports to the Director, eCommerce and is based out of Bozeman, Montana.
As the eCommerce Site Merchandiser, you will have an opportunity to:
Work alongside cross-functional teams to execute site merchandising strategies including product launches, content updates, brand initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
Manage product setup and continued optimization for existing products and content within the brand’s ecommerce platform (Shopify / Salesforce Commerce Clout) including editing product copy to align with brand voice and speak to consumers about directly solving needs.
Manage domestic and international pricing for the brand sites, ensuring UMAP accuracy and executing markdown cadences, working with eCommerce Analyst.
Closely partner with the analytics team to design reporting that identifies industry trends and supports data-driven recommendations.
Curate categories, landing pages, and product detail pages that drive conversion and consumer education.
Have a basic understanding of UX best practices and experience optimizing PLP, PDP, navigation, on-site search, filtering, etc. and validate with a test-and-adjust mindset.
Support product photography strategy with Creative team
Manage and define customer groups and segments for product recommendations and content personalization.
Manage product recommendations to drive incremental revenue and support customer journeys.
Monitor customer product reviews and reporting trends to product merchants
Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories.
Monitor changes in product sales and KPIs to recommend shifts in strategy.
Utilize an Agile approach to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
You have:
3-5 years of relevant ecommerce experience.
Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-commerce websites/portals. Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify+ preferred.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners.
Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies that can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.
Strong Microsoft Excel background
Ability to navigate basic web analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics)
Driven to learn with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Analytical and multitasking skills.
You might have:
Basic Adobe Photoshop knowledge
Experience in or passion for learning fishing and/or big game mountain hunting
Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $53,000.00 - $85,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
