Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, soaking in breath taking views, or window shopping in a quaint downtown, there are many options to enjoy throughout the area.Competitive Pay: Up to $160,000/year, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-time, in personBenefits:401k options available99% of medical insurance paid for employee and 75% on dental and vision insuranceBonuses eligible based off hitting KPIs and company profitsStrong work/life balanceEssential Functions and Duties:Lead the electrical design and engineering efforts for utility-scale and commercial solar projectsPrepare electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, and system layouts for solar power plantsDesign and specify electrical components such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, and other critical equipment for solar installationsOversee and manage the electrical system integration, including interconnection with the gridPerform electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination studiesEnsure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes and safety standardsLead technical due diligence, design review, and risk assessment processes for new projectsCollaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical equipment and materialsProvide support during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of projectsMentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in electrical design and system troubleshootingManage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure efficient project executionAssist in project proposals, including developing electrical engineering scopes of work, cost estimates, and timelinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field). A Master's degree is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in the solar industryStrong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, etc.)Experience with solar energy technologies and systems, including inverters, batteries, and grid integrationProficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar toolsAbility to design and troubleshoot complex electrical systemsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesExperience with commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systemsStrong commitment to safety and environmental standardsExperience in electrical system design for large-scale utility solar power plants preferredKnowledge of energy storage and microgrid integration preferredFluency in project management tools and methodologies preferredIf interested and qualified for this exciting new role, email resume to Amy@lcstaffing.com or call 406-407-7988 for more details. 40501www.lcstaffing.com
