NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Engineer Electric Central Maintenance in BOZEMAN, Montana
Location preferred in Billings, Bozeman or Helena; will also consider Butte, Great Falls or Missoula.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Access and Excel
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to occasional lift materials up to 40 pounds
- Ability to travel to jobsites, off-site meetings, and trainings (up to 25% travel per year) including overnight stays when necessary
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Knowledge and experience in construction/project management work preferred
- Knowledge of the NESC, NEC, IEEE Reliability Standards, and DOT regulations preferred
- Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code & DOT Pipeline Safety Regs Parts 191 and 192 preferred
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Collect data, analyze, design, and estimate to produce engineering project documents
- Provide technical and other program support for various company departments
- Ensure project compliance and oversight of auditable guidelines, policies, practices, and organization standards, including federal and state regulations relating to design solutions
- Assist in developing and managing Central Maintenance budgets
- Manage capital and expense projects
- Compile and write technical reports
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure self and others actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Full-time position.
$62,900 - $135,200 annually, depending on experience.
