Insight Global Epic Application System Manager in Bozeman, Montana
Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying an Epic Application System Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Montana. This role requires working onsite 2 days a week, and 3 from home, however they must sit in Montana leading a technical team. The team is the clinical subject matter experts to design, build, validate, test, optimize, and support the Epic system based on best practice methods. This leader is responsible for independently formulating and implementing solutions to respond to and resolve customer requests, issues, and problems, while meeting the changing demands and priorities of the health system and the third-party environments. They are also expected to be involved in not only the install planning, but also the long-term support of Epic and will need to be able to effectively delegate projects and tasks to the team. Additionally, this role will manage the team resources to ensure analysis of workflows is in-depth, data collection is thorough, report details are adequate, and other technical requirements required are achieved so the users needs are met. Ideally a success candidate will have 5 years of leadership, 3+ years of exposure in Epic projects, specifically Ancillary systems in an inpatient environment.
Directs broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and healthcare system requirements.
Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to operational planning, care/service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.
Coordinates and assists with oversight of departmental services. Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance. Provides direct spiritual care for patients and families consistent with their cultural, spiritual, personal values, preferences, and beliefs.
Demonstrates responsible management of all departmental resources.
Demonstrates clinical/technical and managerial competency.
Leads, teaches, inspires, helps and consistently demonstrates healthcare system behavioral standards.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years in Epic, specifically leading teams that design, implement and support large integrated systems in a healthcare organization
Epic Ancillary Systems
Inpatient focus
5+ years in a leadership role, ideally managing 20+ employees. Current certification (Epic, HL7, Project Management, or ITIL)
Bachelors degree in IT or healthcare null
