Generator TechnicianA family owned, family first Montana based company is looking for a Generator Technician. This company is an authorized dealer of several high profile product lines in the electrical power generation and power solutions and technologies areas. With ambitious growth plans, and an excellent reputation with their customers this is a great career opportunity.As a Generator Technician you will be installing, repairing, and maintaining generator systems ranging from 10 kW - 250 kW, with the opportunity to specialize in service, installation, or co-ordination as the local team grows. Experience with power generation equipment installation and maintenance is strongly preferred, however others with formal training in mechanical or electrical disciplines will be considered.Essential Duties and Activities:Conduct site assessments, job planning and coordination of electrician for quality generator installationsPerform service, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshootingTest, measure, and verify electrical component operationsOperate / diagnose diesel engine, natural gas or propane and report findingsConduct generator pre-inspections and system startups upon completed installationComplete service and equipment performance reportsQualifications:Customer or client interaction: 1 year (Required)generator (or related) installation or maintenance: 1 year (Required)Power generation training and/or experience or mechanic with electrical knowledge preferredWorking knowledge of DC and AC electrical systemsMechanical aptitude and engine and electrical troubleshooting skillsProfessional verbal and written communication skillsA valid driver’s license in good standingWhy you want this job:Full-time - 4/10’s schedule with 3 day weekends!Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTools providedIf interested in applying or for more details email Amy@lcstaffing.com or call 406-407-7988. 40110www.lcstaffing.com
