This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
Works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities. Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals. May travel frequently.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.

Public Sector Hardware Sales Representative - Federal Defense U.S. Air Force and MAJCOM - Hardware Sales Rep IV
We are searching for a results-oriented hardware sales professional with experience selling into the U.S. Air Force and major commands (MAJCOM) as well as a background and experience selling public sector hardware server systems such as Engineered Systems and Server Platforms, both on-premise and Cloud-based. Product Portfolio includes Enterprise-class Private/Public Cloud solutions, x86/SPARC hardware and Engineered Systems: Exadata, SuperCluster, & Big Data Appliance. Proficiency in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, OS, Database, Applications, HPC, Storage, and Virtualization, IaaS and Cloud
A technology savvy spirit combined with the ability to bring ideas, concepts, and people together to deliver a cost-effective, yet technically sound solution focused on selling hardware (servers / storage) to the Air Force and major commands
The successful candidate will sell integrated solutions into will sell hardware solutions to the US Air Force and commands, US Defense Health, Air Force Core of Engineers, etc.. and net new business units within accounts. Leverage resources including partners, business development teams and marketing campaigns to generate demand and create pipeline within the territory. Manage sales cycle from opportunity discovery to closure. Participate in leading account planning Go to Market Sessions.
Candidates should be skilled in discovering compliance-based issues, budgets, contracts, regulations, and procurement cycles. Experience in Complex Deal/Capture Management Expertise; Finance, Pricing and Contracts Background a plus.
Federal DoD account sales experience is strongly preferred.
Air Force and major command account sales is preferred.
Hardware solution sales experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will have met or exceeded their quota history.
This is a Hunter and individual contributor role.
