Oracle Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Market Development in Bozeman, Montana

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit is seekinga Manager of Regulatory Affairs, East to work in our Arlington, Virginia officeand expand our business opportunities throughout the eastern UnitedStates. The UGBU needs a talented team member who can use thepolicy-making and regulatory processes to support UGBU sales and advance themarket for demand side management solutions, SaaS software, and utilityinvestment in technology innovation.

As the Manager, Regulatory Affairs, East you will be responsible for executing theUGBU s regulatory and policy strategy throughout the region. The RegulatoryAffairs team works with utilities, and engages closely with governmentofficials, regulators, and stakeholders to remove obstacles or promote policiesto advance sales. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of RegulatoryAffairs and Market Development for the UGBU, and work closely with SalesManagers for this region.

The ideal candidate brings great business judgment to policy work. You are arelationship builder, policy advocate, and communicator with strong criticalthinking and analytical skills. You have worked in a similar role in the energyindustry or another regulated industry.

This role will involve travel about 25% of the time and will be based in ourArlington, Virginia office.

About You

-[if !supportLists]-> -[endif]->You haveat least five years of work experience in a relevant field and preferably atleast 3 years of direct experience in a similar role.
