General Statement
The Human Interaction Lab at Montana State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team for an exciting NSF -sponsored project. This research focuses on the integration of spatial computing, AI/machine learning, data science, and human factors engineering to advance our understanding and development of human-centered technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct research
Develop machine learning algorithms
Apply data science techniques
Collaborate with a team
Publish findings
Mentor students
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong background in HCI , machine learning, data science, or computer science.
Experience with spatial computing and wearable technology is highly desirable.
Strong programming skills and proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., Python).
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Spatial Computing Development Experience (e.g. Unity).
The Successful Candidate Will
The successful candidate will be an effective team player, good communicator (in writing and presenting scientific talks), and a role model in terms of ethical behavior for the graduate students in the project.
