Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process for large, complex and critical company products involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Communicate status to executive management regularly.
Acknowledged expert/professional within company and/or industry nationally and internationally. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products, processes, techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that effect the organization*s long term objectives / strategy. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 15 or more years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

Deep knowledge of and extensive experience at operating MySQL server in highly-available, highly-scaled deployments.
Help lead definition, implementation, tracking and refinement of our operational tooling to efficiently meet our SLAs while providing a rewarding work environment for our DevOps team.
Represent our group at weekly internal reviews and operational quality meetings. Requires deep familiarity with change management; incident/SR histories and handling; development activities and priorities across our data plane and control plane teams.
Take a regularly scheduled rotation in operating the service and handle Shift Manager escalations.
Demonstrated ability and experience in leading broad range of development and operational staff without having formal reporting responsibility.
Actively develop on and perform architectural and code review of all parts of our data plane and operational stack.
Acknowledged software security expert able to resolve high priority security issues and co-direct our security roadmap to comply with internal and external standards.
Manage broad integration and coordination with Support: Incident and SR hand-offs, refine and champion their development and operational requests and priorities.
Coordinate cross-team and cross-organization development priorities and integration within and outside our GBU.
Work with TPM to manage internal partner requirements and integration.
