This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pump to meet the needs of different projects. The Concrete Pump Operator must be adept at handling the equipment and possess a strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations.Pay: $25 to $32/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-timeEssential Functions and Duties:Monitor gauges and inspect equipment to ensure proper tank levels, temperatures, and pressures, reporting any issuesRecord operational data, including quantities pumped, stocks used, and operating timesCommunicate with team members to manage material flowsRead instructions or receive orders to determine pumping quantitiesInspect vehicles for mechanical and safety readinessMaintain logs for work hours, vehicle service, and repairs per regulationsObtain receipts/signatures for deliveries and collect payments when requiredManeuver trucks into loading positions and secure cargo for transportReport vehicle defects, accidents, and violationsPerform maintenance on pumps and connect hoses/pipelinesQualifications:Vocational training or job-related experienceMust hold a valid Class C vehicle operator’s licenseAbility to read instructions and keep routine written recordsAbility to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basisAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as requiredWhy you want this position:Medical, dental, vision & life insuranceFlexible spending accountsRetirement savings, matching & profit sharingVacation, sick leave & holiday payEmployee referral programContinued educationOn-the-job trainingDiscretionary bonusesPaid drive time (1-hour per day)Get in touch!
