Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Knowledgeof psychosocial assessment, occupational placement, and vocational rehabilitation counseling. * Knowledgeof medical and psychiatric conditions in relation to the rehabilitation process. * Knowledgeof counseling theories, techniques, and applications. * Effectivewritten and oral communication skills. * Abilityto be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide. Does not look to protect the rule, but rather uses the rules to increase engagement. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Individuals may be considered for a training assignment if they possess: + Bachelor’sdegree in a related field. + Oneyear of experience in rehabilitation counseling, career counseling, or human services. o Fully qualified applicants possess: + Master’sdegree in rehabilitation counseling. + Certificationby the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is highly preferred. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website. Additional Information This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
