Oracle Release Manager in Bozeman, Montana
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

High Compliance Release Manager
The CEGBU PMO High Compliance Release Manager (HCRM) is a new role being introduced to support the deployment of Oracle Construction and Engineering software to High Compliance Oracle cloud infrastructure. While this position reports to the CEGBU PMO, the HCRM is a key matrixed role that supports the High Compliance Center of Excellence (COE) delivery of government certified solutions to Oracle government customers and contractors. The HCRM coordinates the intake and deployment of new features from Product Development as well as platform technical remediation work. The HCRM also collaborates with the other CEGBU Release Managers to facilitate process improvements and cross-team reporting.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage the development, testing, certification, promotion and release of software to the Oracle High Compliance platform
Own the inventory of each release’s contents
Collaborate with Center of Excellence stakeholders and technical program managers to schedule the deployments to various environments
Validate that appropriate controls are applied by the responsible operational teams during the high compliance testing and promotion process
Coordinate with technical and product development program managers to identify risks to the integrity of the deployment packages
Communicate environmental and other release readiness issues to stakeholders, technical program managers, and technical teams and coordinate responses
Report to stakeholders, technical program managers, and technical teams on the status of the High Compliance release process
Collaborate with the Commercial platform release manager to improve the High Compliance intake, promotion, and deployment processes.
Work with Cloud Engineering and Production Operations to schedule release into the lower and in-boundary environments.
Requirements:
US Citizenship is required (no visa holders; no sponsorship is available)
At least 1 year of Release Management experience
Meticulous and conscientious nature with a mind set to take ownership of your work
A self-starter who wants to expand her/his skills but also enjoys being a member of a team
Knowledge of controls and concerns for FedRAMP IL2 and IL4 certified environments
Familiarity with the Cloud platform and experience coordinating deployments to the same
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience writing process documentation and/or creating process diagrams
Strong meeting facilitation skills over Zoom or other web conferencing software
Experience coordinating with offshore teams is a plus

Experience working in a US High Compliance platform environment
Experience with Service Now, Jira & Confluence
