POSITION
In this role, you will thrive in leading various engineering project design opportunities . The Senior Engineer will champion and lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of project work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis. These responsibilities include:
Expertly collaborates with clients to grasp project vision.
Oversee and lead project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Utilize design software for drafting plans and modeling.
Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.
Evaluate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team.
Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals.
Applies technical writing skills for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.
Ensures precision and safety through meticulous design.
Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.
Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input.
Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel.
Stays aware of federal regulations that impact the aviation industry.

YOUR STRENGTHS
Professional Engineering (PE) license or able to obtain soon after hire
Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8+ years’ experience with airport design/construction projects
Advanced project management experience leading complex projects
Strong financial acumen
Working knowledge of FAA regulations and airport safety
Proficiency with design software (e.g., Civil3D, Blue Beam)
Proven client growth mindset
A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel
