Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, soaking in breath taking views, or window shopping in a quaint downtown, there are many options to enjoy throughout the area.Competitive Salary: Up to $180,000/year, depending on experienceBenefits:401k options available99% of medical insurance paid for employee and 75% on dental and vision insuranceBonuses eligible based off hitting KPIs and company profitsStrong work/life balanceEssential Functions and Duties:Lead the civil engineering design for solar energy projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, access roads, foundations, and other civil worksConduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations to determine appropriate designs for solar power plantsPrepare detailed civil engineering drawings and specifications for solar installations, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and regulationsDesign site layouts, including solar array placements, roadways, and stormwater management systemsCollaborate with electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated project designs that meet project objectivesConduct cost analysis and provide input on material selection and construction methods to optimize the civil design and budgetProvide support during the construction phase, including reviewing contractor submittals, managing construction schedule, and ensuring quality control of civil worksSupervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and support in civil engineering design and project managementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) - a Master's degree is a plusProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industryStrong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including site design, grading, drainage, and foundation designExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and other relevant design toolsFamiliarity with solar energy systems, including site design requirements specific to solar farms (e.g., access roads, layout, environmental considerations)Ability to perform site evaluations and coordinate geotechnical studies to inform design decisions, manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget targetsAbility to work 100% in officePlease send resume to tiffani@lcstaffing.com or call directly 406.295.133840502https://lcstaffing.com/jobs/senior-civil-engineer/
