Oracle Senior Product Marketing Manager, Oracle CX Cloud in Bozeman, Montana

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.

Reports to: Director Product Marketing, Oracle CX Cloud

This Product Marketing role within the Global Oracle Cloud CX Product Marketing team is tasked with marketing and sales enablement for one or more of the industry leading Customer Experience applications. This requires the ability to synthesize the customer & market needs, the changing competitive landscape and highlight CX differentiators ensuring revenue and market penetration targets are met. This individual will drive market messaging, strategy and go to market activities for Oracle s industry leading CX solutions. The candidate will work across functional groups such as product management, corporate marketing, analyst relations, field marketing, sales and others, to ensure we are bringing a consistent message of solution value and differentiation to the sales and marketing channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Messaging - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Oracle CX solutions and products in the market

  • *Market intelligence *be the expert on our target markets and buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria

  • *Competitive Intelligence *- Be a domain expert on your competition and how to crush them - work closely with competitive intelligence teams to gather and disseminate competitive information and positions across the organization

  • Alignmultiple Oracle solutions into an overarching strategy and market messaging framework that speaks to the needs of enterprise customers

  • *Sales enablement *develop highly differentiating sales plays and enable global field sellers to successfully execute them

  • *Marketing enablement *work closely with our marketing teams to deliver messaging and marketing content to enable effective demand generation campaigns

  • RepresentOracle CX as a spokesperson, a subject matter expert, and a thought leader in speaking engagements and customer meetings

  • Content with a web-first mindset, be responsible for content development of product material, webcasts, speaking events, in support of internal and external communications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in a product marketing role with a demonstrated ability and passion to learn new technologies

  • Product Marketing in a technology company with demonstrated success in launching winning products in the cloud

  • SaaS Cloud application product knowledge and understanding of market-based strategies and overall competitive landscape

  • Experience in marketing solutions within the Customer Experience domain preferred marketing, sales, service, commerce, loyalty, content management

  • Experience product marketing within 1 or more industries is a plus

  • Experience in planning and executing winning go-to-market strategies

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate solutions in terms of customer value and impact on their business, employees and customers

  • Demonstrated success in working in a team-based, collaborative environment, and the ability to build relationships and influence outside of authority while leveraging Oracle expertise and resources

  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced organization

  • MBA or Bachelor s degree in business or technology field

  • Willing to travel up to 20%
