Base Hourly Rate: $20/hour

The total compensation opportunity includes the base salary, a 10% annual bonus opportunity based on company performance

In this role, you will be working on products that improve quality of life for patients, workers and consumers worldwide. Our products include sterilization and cleaning monitoring, mail in spore testing, and continuous monitoring products to name a few. Our services include validation and calibration services, sterilization cycle development and validation, and contract laboratory testing. Your work can have a direct impact on your life and the lives of those you love.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Gather and verify product pulled for daily orders.
• Box product per the standard work procedures per product. Both ambient and cold products either shipping alone or together.
• Process and Fulfill orders (both domestic and international) on the computer. Several software programs are used in this process.
• Enter shipping details on computer to create shipping labels. Attention to details is vital to ensure the product is shipping per the correct shipping method.
• Keep the shipping area and workbenches in a clean and tidy condition daily.
• Ability to work with the team and independently to achieve the daily workload.
• Excellent Communication (written and verbal) and typing skills are required as we communicate with both internal teams and the customers.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs is essential as many of our products are heavy and need to be placed on the outgoing belt for pickups. We have lift carts that can be used to move around/raise/lower the heavier packed boxes
• Responsible for making sure boxes are on the correct outgoing belts, assist carriers to ensure they receive all the outgoing items for the day.
• Restock shipping benches, freezers and monitor the inventory level of packaging material.
• Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
• Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
• Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
• Operating a forklift (training will be provided) if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

One or more years' experience in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
