About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our SITKA Gear team. In this role, you will lead and execute the product line strategy bringing remarkable product that exemplifies the brand standards to market. We are open to qualified candidates working remote from home, anywhere in the United States.
Ownership of lifestyle category product strategy with clear ties to Sitka's business objectives by integrating the views of knowledge experts and key stakeholders
Deliver the lifestyle product category strategy by driving the creation of product plans that exemplify the Sitka brand
Partner with business and functional teams to foster overall alignment behind the category product strategy and priorities
Manage the holistic product life cycle from inception to retirement including sku rationalization and obsolesce planning
Lead the briefing, design, and execution of the lifestyle product development processes
Partner with Product Developers to establish and manage category development calendars, key milestones, creating clear expectations, deliverables and accountabilities across channels through SITKA's Go To Market Process
Collaborate with sales and marketing to support demand planning and the distribution and assortment direction for go to market strategies
Review and evaluate financial forecasts, costing, and margin objectives at various stages of development to ensure clear alignment of product positioning as it relates to financial targets and margin expectations
Minimum of 7 years experience as a product manager with an emphasis on consumer branded products or lifestyle brands with at least $50 million in gross revenue
Minimum of 3 years of experience building and developing high performing teams
Demonstrated success leveraging market research, opportunity assessment tools, and product reviews to support business objectives
Strong business insight and a proven record of achieving goals
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and engage others
Strategic orientation with ability to plan and execute tactically
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Ability to travel up to 15%
Minimum of 10 years experience as a product manager or developer
Experience with Centric PLM
