Bozeman Health System Director of Supply Chain in Bozeman, Montana
Position Summary:
The System Director of Supply Chain is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the Materials Management department subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV, and the hospital administrative team. Directs system wide supply chain functions with responsibilities for purchasing, inventory control, ERP systems, GPO contracting, and RFP processes. Provides patient facing clinical leader’s guidance on cost effective medical device acquisitions as well as contract compliancy alignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Valid Montana Driver’s License required
Minimum of eight (8) years direct relevant experience in healthcare supply chain including; budgeting, bidding, vendor negotiations, contracts, ERP management, and group purchasing organization participation.
Minimum five (5) years progressive leadership experience in supply chain operations
Essential Job Functions
Support cost savings objectives and implementing best practices in support of budgeted procurement and productivity initiatives. This scope includes Med/Surg, Perioperative Services, Lab, as well as purchased services and ERP functions.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendors, suppliers, and OEMs to measure performance, quality, and delivery accuracy.
Ensure daily operations of facility material management are following correct processes to maintain and efficient and cost-effective workflow.
Participation in RFP/QBR and vendor management
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for cultivating, enhancing, and managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and OEM partners.
Establish contingency plans to address supply disruptions, changes in demand, and other potential challenges.
Drive savings and improve financial performance through negotiation, process improvements, strategy recommendations, and the implementation of existing GPO and local contracts.
Maintain strong relationships with senior level leadership
