Bozeman Health Ultrasound Supervisor - FT (1fte) in Bozeman, Montana
Position Summary:
The Ultrasound Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing departmental services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team for both the acute care and outpatient settings. Supervises delivery of multi-modality imaging services to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in the Imaging departments, complementary to medical ethics. Assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment. Responsible for staff evaluations, training and quality control for direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Registered sonographer with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
American Heart Association BLS
Five (5) years of combined clinical experience in diagnostic medical and vascular sonography.
Two (2) years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred
- Diversified clinical experience to include Musculoskeletal, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Vascular and Diagnostic Medical sonography.

Assists the imaging manager with broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.
Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.
Coordinates and oversees the organization-wide departmental services. Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance.
Demonstrates responsible management of all departmental resources.
Demonstrates clinical/technical and managerial competency. Ensures staff professional needs are met.
Leads, teaches, inspires and consistently demonstrates hospital behavioral standards
Participates in all organizational annual operating plan initiatives and quality improvement processes

Schedule Requirements
This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
