NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Warehouse Person in BOZEMAN, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
- Forklift operation certification (training available)
- Commitment to safe working practices and knowledge of safety policies/procedures
- Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends in response to acute service needs
- Ability to safely lift parts, equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to chest level
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions on an frequent basis
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Receive and ship freight
- Organize warehouse and supplies
- Perform inventory counting/control
- Perform material handling of freight between warehouse and trucks, including skillful and safe use of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hoists
- Pull equipment and stage jobs for work crews
- Unload and restock materials from freight trucks; process returned materials from other areas
- Prepare trucks for deliveries
- Prepare and complete proper documentation of warehouse functions
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Full-time, seasonal position; layoff expected November 7, 2025, subject to recall the following spring.
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour starting base wage, depending on experience, with career advancement opportunity up to $32.07 per hour.
