VCA Amherst Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Butte, Montana.

VCA Amherst Animal Hospital is a full service, AAHA accredited practice treating birds, cats, dogs, exotics, pockets pets, rabbits and reptiles. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client services, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology.

Besides routine surgeries and dental prophylaxis, we do many soft tissue surgeries and orthopedic procedures. For orthopedic cases, we utilize external fixators, bone plates, IM pins, and TPLO plating. We do endoscopy, as well as ultrasonography. After hours emergency care is provided to our clients - the doctors share the on-call duty, averaging one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month. We place an emphasis on staff education by providing an educational based environment. We are dedicated to giving back to our community that supports us!
We are located in beautiful southwest Montana between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone Park. Butte is in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. The Continental Divide is within minutes of our clinic with access to the nationally acclaimed Continental Divide Trail. We have world class mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, hiking and camping just a short drive away. We have many blue ribbon lakes, rivers and streams nearby offering some of the best fishing in the northwest. Our vibrant community has a rich and colorful history.
