About this position:
Fleet Compliance Administrative Specialist role will include managing vehicle and equipment licensing, tracking DOT/di-electric inspections, and obtaining required permits. You'll collaborate with fleet professionals, mechanics, vendors, and DMVs to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

About this job:
Manage the license plate renewal process on all Fleet assets including vehicles/equipment
Complete the transfer of SD/NE titles to reflect the holding company structure
Complete title documents and purchase license plates for new vehicles/equipment
Communicate with up-fitters and dealers to obtain MSOs for new vehicles/equipment
Work as liaison with vendors to process and track annual di-electric inspections and DOT chassis/trailer inspections.
File, purchase, and deliver annual DOT over-length permits for NWE vehicles
Complete and purchase SM tags for NorthWestern Energy backhoes
Compile mileage and tax information for the quarterly heavy highway use tax filing
Travel, if needed, to county DMVs and obtain correct licensing
Travel up 25% of the time, in Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota service territories
Work all required hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Am I right for this job? Here's the success profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
An Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or similar field of study preferred
Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Experience with vehicle licensing, titling, or permit purchasing tasks is preferred
Familiarity with critical tasks such as ARI invoicing and SAP/Powerplant data entry is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of SAP systems preferred
