Busy car dealership with new 10,000 square foot service facility is seeking lube oil change and automotive technicians trained in any make or ASE certification. Pay is calculated hourly OR flat rate - whatever is higher. Full time position available, 4 day work week, a valid drivers license is a MUST. Applicants with a Master's level certification are eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus.Automotive Technician Requirements:Hold a valid driver license.Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.Prepared to do on-the-job training as well as online training courses/certifications.Understanding of automotive systems.Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.Automotive Technician Responsibilities Include:Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.Explain automotive repairs/issues and provide great customer service.Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.Test the functionality of parts and systemsPerform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.Maintain a professional appearance and help keep repair shop clean and organized.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
