Intermountain Health Barista in Butte, Montana
Job Description:
Under close supervision, the Food Service Associate performs a variety of food service duties.
Schedule : PRN(Flexible)
Location : Butte, MT
As a Barista you need to know how to
Take orders for coffee and espresso beverages and other Java City offerings
Operate cash register, handle cash from guest transactions in a careful and accurate manner and follow all cash handling procedures
Ensure beverages maintain consistency and follows drink recipes for accuracy
Manage Java City inventory and supply ordering including communication with all Java City vendors. Maintain product inventory in accordance with food cost budget established by production manager
Keep work area clean at all times and ensure the customer service area is free of contaminants. Work with janitorial staff to maintain a clean and inviting environment
Understand the necessary functions of operating Java City such as opening and closing procedures, quality assurance of all products, and maintenance of equipment and cleaning procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Basic computer skills, required
Related experience or training, preferred
At least six (6) months of retail experience, preferred
Current ServSafe certification, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and -May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
