Job Summary
This position will be responsible for the functional design, testing, and implementation of business applications pertaining to EDI. This person will work with technical staff, users, customers and management to design applications that fit business needs, contribute to business growth, and solve business & customer related problems.
Primary Responsibilities
Use Business integration tools to provide integration solutions for internal and external customers.
Create, test, implement and support solutions that resolve business challenges or inefficiencies.
Create functional specifications using company accepted standards
Provide direction, training, and continuing technical guidance to the EDI Development team.
Create, test, implement and support solutions that resolve business challenges or inefficiencies
Analysis of business/customer problems and recommendation of improvements/solutions
Be available for on call support, deployments, upgrades and DR switches/tests related to the EDI area.
Work collaboratively with Application architect, users, Customers and management to design applications and implement solutions that fit business needs.
Perform application and integration testing.
Create data flow diagrams, testing and QA documentation as well as user help documentation.
Provide SOX documentation in accordance with department standards.
Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of supported business area(s)
Verification of production changes and coordination with business units effected
Work closely with systems integration and server administration teams for all hardware & software upgrades
Pay Range:
- $99,647 - $124,558
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or in-lieu of degree, equivalent work experience
Experience:
4+ years EDI Business Analyst experience with 2+ years in team lead role
Strong working knowledge of SQL
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work as a team player
Strong problem solving skills and self-motivated
Maintain a positive attitude and be supportive to management and all team members
Transportation knowledge a definite plus
