About this position:
The Business Applications Analyst provides comprehensive support for critical finance applications. The successful candidate is the principal liaison between Business Technology and stakeholders; will work in a team environment integrating processes, data, and technology. About this job:
Interact with stakeholders to identify the problem-to-solve and advance innovative solutions
Partner with end users to develop roadmaps, document processes, identify requirements and test applications
Employ strong analytical skills to evaluate or troubleshoot to identify root cause
Develop functional specifications including current state, future state, and gap analysis
Implement, upgrade, enhance, troubleshoot, and support application product delivery
Coordinate, plan, and execute multiple work assignments meeting product delivery completion dates
Driven to help the business protect assets through adoption and employment of NorthWestern Energy cybersecurity policies, tools, and practices
Build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders cultivating trust, confidence, and partnership
Maintain and adhere to the confidentiality of sensitive information
Some travel (up to 15% of time), including day trips and overnight will be required
Ability to work extended hours as necessary
Participation in an on-call rotation schedule may be required
Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, goals, strategic business objectives, Effective Leadership methodology and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Comply with NorthWestern Energy's internal controls, policies, practices, procedures and standards, including company and department security standards.

Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record adhering to company safety standards
Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college in associated discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, Accounting, or other relevant degree. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also be considered.
Exhibit an enthusiasm for technology, streamlining business processes and introducing new automation
General knowledge of supporting corporate technology structures
Strong aptitude to understand current technology trends (software, cloud, cybersecurity and automation) to apply them to NorthWestern Energy
Demonstrate high performance standards
Strong organizational skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Strong written/oral communication and documentation skills
Self-starter who pursues self-education and is end-user focused
SAP, ERP, and/or financial application support experience a definite plus
