Applications received after that date may be considered until an adequate applicant pool has been established.Duties:The Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (CRRN) provides educational instruction and intervention within the clinical/lab setting. Additional responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, holding regular office hours, student recruitment, advising and committee work as assigned.Candidates seeking the rank of Instructor must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.Candidates seeking the rank of Assistant Professor must have a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing, ability to provide educational instruction and intervention within the clinical and lab settings, participate in curriculum development and assessment of learning outcomes. Additional responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, holding regular office hours, student recruitment, advising and committee work as assigned.Required Qualifications for Instructor Rank: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institutionCurrent unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the State of MontanaTwo years employment in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse within the last five yearsMust meet clinical affiliate employment requirementsRequired Qualifications for Assistant Professor Rank: Master’s degree or Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursingAbility to obtain a current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the State of Montana by August 15, 2024Two years employment in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse within the last five yearsMust meet clinical affiliate employment requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications for Instructor Rank: Master’s degree or Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursingNursing education experienceSpecialty certification in nursingPreferred Qualifications for Assistant Professor Rank: Prior classroom and/or clinical teaching experience at the collegiate levelNursing education experienceEvidence of scholarly activitySpecialty certification in nursingPhysical Demands Ability to chaperone student field trips.Willingness to work extended hours during peak event times and annual performance reporting season
