Under supervision of the Data Preservation team, the Curator (Data Preservation Technician) will evaluate and organize complex historical mining- and geology-related information incorporated into archives. In cooperation with the Data Preservation team, the Technician develops improved digitization procedures and instructs students in their use. The Technician receives and responds to face-to-face, telephone, and email inquiries by the public for historical mining-related information and ensures a professional, constructive, productive, and efficient work environment. Work schedule is standard 40-hour week in office.
