Responsibilities. Like every member of the Apex Team, your role as Construction Technician 1 is key to the company's success. While your responsibilities will vary day to day, in general you will often:
Mobilize to and from field locations.
Perform field labor.
Operate hand-held construction equipment and small machinery.
Learn heavy equipment operating, construction techniques, and regulations.
Document field observations.
Observe safe work practices.
Actively develop your own career path.

Great minds think alike! Now that we understand each other, let's sort through the minimum qualifications for this position:
GED or High School Diploma.
1-2 years of construction experience with any of the following: general construction, repair and/or construction of stormwater infrastructure, landscaping, grounds maintenance.
Able to perform manual labor.
Knowledge of sediment and erosion control is helpful.
General carpentry and plumbing experience is helpful.
Comfortable using pickups/equipment trailers.
Ability to travel/work on the road for 2 weeks each month; 1 week required, 2nd week occasionally.
Smartphone app and computer skills.
Good driving record.
Dedication to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations.
