About this role:
As a Physician in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work with an outstanding team of surgical professionals including colleague physicians and advanced practice providers. This role includes outpatient clinic, operating room/surgical services, inpatient rounding, and hospital call coverage for our Level III Trauma Services. Our hospital surgical suite includes MIS Da Vinci Xi Robotics capabilities. Our Ambulatory Surgical Center is located on campus adjacent to the hospital.
This position includes travel per Intermountain Health Travel Policy and Malpractice Coverage with Tail.
You will practice at Intermountain - Medical Group Butte – in Butte, MT
Your hours and on-call responsibilities will be assigned and coordinated based on a PRN need
What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
ACGME accredited residency training in General Surgery
ABMS board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
2 Years Post Graduate Experience
Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one prior to hire
BLS certification and DEA
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
