Hotel Finlen Hotel Maintenance Worker in Butte, Montana
Work at the Historic Finlen Hotel in UpTown Butte!The Finlen is proud of its reputation as one of Montana's best historic hotels. We are currently seeking a hard-working team player to join our maintenance team. This person will be responsible for helping us maintain the finest building in Butte. Related experience is required, wage is dependent on experience. Please include a resume and a list of professional references when applying. Increased wage compensation for those who have trade skills such as electrical, plumbing, boiler operations or related skills. Specifically, you would be responsible for or have working knowledge of the following tasks/skills and be able to perform to the highest standards:General building maintenanceAble to respond to guest, tenant, and colleague requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs.Weekend availability and ability to assist on call if necessary.Janitorial/custodial duties such at trash collection, grounds keeping, buffing/mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and any other tasks as needed.Willing to jump in where needed whether that be assisting the maintenance manager or helping with hotel laundry. A positive, can-do, team player attitude is of the utmost importance.To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery- Attention to detail and ability to work independently- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting and bendingOur team is focused developing long-term relationships with customers, tenants and employees.
