Intern - Business Applications Technology

Work Location : Butte, Montana

Pay range : $17.00 - $20.00/hour

Employment Status: Temporary (May through August, 2023)

(September - December, 2023 potential part time)

About this position:

Intern will be an instrumental part of the Business Technology team at NorthWestern Energy where the successful candidate with work directly with a team of technologist and business users to upgrade existing business related software platforms while expanding, streamlining, and automating the corporate technology environment at NorthWestern Energy.

  • Participate in creating and maintaining process, training, technical documentation and standards and procedures related to the operations and maintenance of supported systems and applications

  • Work with vendors and colleagues to research, plan, test, and implement patches, releases, and upgrades

  • Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record

  • Accounting, Business, Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS) related degree path required

  • Student must have completedSophomorelevel or higher by start date

  • Must be in good academic standing

  • Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application

  • Must possess strong customer service and computer technology problem resolution skills

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

  • Self-starter who pursues self-education and is customer focused
