Intern Compliance & System Integrity Engineer
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Engineering major required
- Successfully completed freshman year or above
- In good academic standing
- Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including field visits
- Ability to lift materials up to 35 pounds
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist with the development of Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) projects and plans
- Support the development and management of pipeline integrity programs and risk models
- Participate in the management of the Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS)
- Assist with database development, management and tracking of compliance initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to help build efficiencies into workflows
- Aid in the development of welding programs
- Assist with the management of Operator Qualification tracking and program
- Participate in organizational work meetings
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week) and September - December part-time (20 hours per week).
$20.00 per hour.
