NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Intern Physical Security in BUTTE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Criminal Justice, Physical Security, Homeland Security, Emergency Management or related degree path
- Successfully completed freshman year or above
- Be in good academic standing
- Provide GPA in Resume upon application
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift material up to 35 pounds
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in review and revision of all Standard Operating Procedures of the Security Operations Center
- Participate with the Physical Security Coordinator and Analyst in FERC Regulator required inspections and meeting of NorthWestern Energy's Hydro facilitates
- Assist with the annual revision and review of all NorthWestern Energy Emergency Response Plans
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Security Operation Center, work with contract security officers to monitor and update access control and video monitoring of critical assets
- Attend meetings with regulatory and industry physical security professionals for development of physical security strategies and enhancements
- Conduct research, document and develop reports
- Participate in organizational work meetings
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week).
$20.00 per hour.
