THREE BEARS ALASKA Maintenance Person in BUTTE, Montana

Local retail store needs a Maintenance Person. Provides janitorial services and general maintenance of warehouse and grounds. Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break room and restrooms by operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery and by sweeping, mopping, spraying and wiping. Responds quickly to clean up spills. Paints, replaces bulbs, maintains equipment and performs routine repairs throughout the store. Maintains grounds outside warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks and building maintenance. Participates in snow and ice removal. Follows departmental procedures and standards for cleanliness and performance of duties. Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse. Operates flatbeds, carts, hand tools, pressure washer, floor scrubber, leaf blower, private vehicle, power tools, cardboard baler, trash compactor, machinery throughout store. Occasionally operates cash register, hand held scanners, computer, fax machine, phone, printer. Climate controlled warehouse with concrete and/or tile floor. Occasional exposure to weather while working outside. Occasional exposure to Extreme Cold temperatures both outside and in coolers/freezers. Occasional exposure to Toxic/Caustic chemicals. Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching at/below shoulders. Occasional sitting, squatting, kneeling, climbing and reaching above shoulders. Fare vision to assess maintenance needs, field of vision, vision accommodation to drive floor scrubber and private vehicle. Hearing required to converse with customers, vendors and coworkers. Ability to hear engine noise for diagnosis. Frequently lift up to 10 pounds at chest/waist level. Occasionally lift/carry up to 75 pounds below waist and at waist/chest level and up to 50 pounds above shoulders. Frequent simple grasp of up to 8# of force, fine finger manipulation and pushing/pulling with hands. Occasionally grasp with over 8# of force, use foot controls, and repetitive hand motions.
